Kendall purchased the land in 1972 and continued to actively farm it until the 1990’s when he leased the bottomland for grass farming and focused on the timberlands. He has been active in the local community for decades as a volunteer firefighter and board member of the local charter school. His forte is habitat and, of course, the farming knowledge necessary to provide that habitat.

We formed Luckiamute Valley Pheasants because of our mutual love of this uniquely beautiful bit of the Luckiamute River valley. We hope you will come to have an appreciation for it also and will help us enjoy it for years to come.
